The Lucky Run is a March race celebrating the start of spring, getting outside and exercising, and reaching personal goals. Race distances for the event are: 2K, 5K, 7K, 10K and Kids Fun Runs. Events start and finish at Davis High School in North Davis (adjacent to Community Park) at the gym parking lot off Oak Avenue. Loop courses travel along city streets, along Davis’ tree-lined bike paths, and through parks and residential neighborhoods.
Entry for the 2K, 5K, 7K, and 10K includes a short sleeve dri-blend t-shirt, finisher medal, timing and eligibility for age group awards, and post-race refreshments. Entry to the Kids Runs includes a t-shirt, finisher’s medal and post-race refreshments (race is not timed).
The event benefits Cancer Champions, a nonprofit organization that provides cancer patients with fitness, nutrition, and mindset guidance as they navigate their cancer diagnosis and treatment.
