The Art of Eating – The Village Feast in Davis’ Central Park

Lunch? Over the years in Provence, France the menu for the Grande Aioli, a traditional communal celebration of the end of summer, has remained the same. You can taste it in Davis, September 29, 1-4 PM at Davis Central Park.  Join 350 people from Davis and surrounding towns, around one large table under the shade of the Sycamore trees to feast on The Grande Aioli. The event is a part of the Sacramento region’s September Farm to Fork month celebration.

This beloved celebration of local food, wine and friends, family and neighbors was created to bring the romance of Provence to Yolo County, which shares a similar climate and terrain. We’re delighted that Georgeanne Brennan, an authority on the Grande Aioli and Yolo County resident, will be with us for the Village Feast. more
