Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Tours

January 19, 2025 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

Tour the Yolo Wildlife Area in Davis with an experienced field trip leader! View flooded seasonal and permanent wetlands, native grasslands and young riparian forests. Depending on the season, look for migrating and resident waterfowl, shorebirds, songbirds, raptors, and wading birds.

Tours run rain or shine at 9:00 a.m. on the third Sunday of each month, except in instances of flooding. Tours do not run in July, August, and September. We will meet at the Yolo Bypass Wildlife Area Headquarters (45211 County Road 32B). Click here for directions. Registration required.

Pets are not allowed on tours. Tours are limited to 30 people. Please bring your own binoculars if you have them. Binoculars are available to borrow. Donations to support the wetlands education programs are greatly appreciated. There is a suggested donation of $10 per adult for tours.
