Join farmers and friends in the Capay Valley for the 34th Annual Hoes Down Festival at Full Belly Farm.
The ticketed Hoes Down festival features farm foods tasting (beverages, dairy products, and more), sheep shearing, pumpkin carving, and, of course, nonstop musical entertainment and dancing! The next day, featured Valley farms are open for more down-hoe-m fun!
The Hoes Down Harvest Festival was created over 30 years ago to bring people out to our little Valley to deepen their connection with food and the land. Today, it’s a daylong fundraising event focused on providing an on-the-ground education about the food we eat, the people who grow it, and the positive impacts of sustainable/regenerative farming practices overall. Last year, the event generated $100,000 for organizations that support agricultural arts and rural communities. It’s a very full day of Farm fun for the whole family – with an overnight camping opportunity! Check it out at Hoes Down Harvest Festival — EcoFarm!
