In 2016, the Davis Farmers Market celebrated its 40th anniversary. Open every Saturday morning, year-round, and on Wednesday afternoons, the market is recognized as one of the best in the nation. During daylight-saving time, the Wednesday market expands into a Picnic in the Park event with entertainment, dining, beer and wine.
You’ll find other markets in Davis as well as neighboring Woodland, where producers offer their goods on Main Street in the historic downtown.

This twice-a-week event brings farmers and consumers together, rain or shine, year-round. You will find locally grown fruits, vegetables, nuts, produce and more. Saturdays, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m., year-round; Wednesdays 4:30 p.m. till sunset, April through October for Picnic in the Park Market; and Wednesdays, 3 to 6 p.m., November through March, for the Winter Market.
Sutter Davis Hospital Main Entrance, 2000 Sutter Place, Davis
Sutter Davis Hospital partners with Davis Farmers Market, local farmers and bakers to offer fresh food for purchase. It runs Thursdays, May through October, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
An on-campus extension of the Davis Farmers Market, this one is designed to promote student health, as well as local and campus food. Fall and spring quarters, April through early June, 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on the Quad, across from the Coffeehouse.
This seasonal market offers quality produce at reasonable prices in a fun, festive atmosphere, often with live music. Saturdays 9am-noon, along Main Street between 1st and 3rd Streets, May-September. Tuesdays 4:30-7pm, located at Woodland Healthcare, 1325 Cottonwood Street, June through September.
