California Rangeland Trust

Yolo Place Hero Image

Welcome To Yolo County

Visit Yolo (County) is very excited to welcome the CA Rangeland Trust 25th anniversary event May 19 and 20th. Yolo County has much to offer that is distinctive to the area and we are confident those attending will find the place to be “a breath of fresh air”. Open space populated with unique family legacy boutique wine, one of a kind ag tourism and authentic farm-to-table experiences are awaiting you. We hope you will consider extending your stay and discovering for yourself what we have to offer to visitors. In fact, we have created this special landing page just for Rangeland Trust attendees suggesting special offers, tours and more. Check us out!

Compared to other counties in the State, Yolo County has unusually high agriculture, forestry, fishing and hunting.  Agriculture is the County’s number one priority industry.  Maintaining agricultural land use means having a more sustainable environment free from urban sprawl.  Organizations like the California Rangeland Trust are in the forefront of securing these lands with programs that secure the use of open lands for cattle and other animal grazing.  The Western Affair is a major fundraiser for the CRT and the Yolo County Visitors Bureau is proud to be a sponsor of this epic event.
