The Seka Hills Story: Building A Brand

13247891_1075591832500325_8551636284706091626_oWalking into the Seka Hills tasting room, nestled in the heart of the verdant Capay Valley, you get a clear sense of prosperity and welcome. The wide-open room with smooth wooden floors, comfortable lounging chairs, tasteful retail displays, and modern bar front all blend handsomely together, complemented by views into the adjacent olive mill.

And the scent of the mill crushing what will soon be Seka’s highly-rated olive oil perfumes the air. You can taste wine and olive oil, enjoy a variety of events, relax inside or outdoors on the spacious patio and lawns. more

Here are ten reasons why you should join us in ushering in the new season: more

Fred Manas & The Best Peaches in the West

Fred Manas

Fred Manas is a rancher, in the fullest sense of the term. He grows and harvests good things to eat: a variety of fruits on 60 acres around Esparto, almost all of it sold on the premises, and Angus-Hereford cattle run in the fields and foothills of Napa and Yolo counties, which is processed and sold at his namesake meat market near town. He wears what suits him: jeans with a large tarnished buckle, stripped shirt with two pockets, cowboy boots that haven’t been polished since he bought them, and a hat no one else in the world could get away with wearing. more
