This boutique features items for every-stage of cooking from the occasional home cook to the seasoned professional home chef to child chefs.  They’ve recently added a men’s section makes the shop an all encompassing place for men and women alike to purchase gifts for themselves or others. Items for men range from cigars in a humidor, tailgating supplies, grooming accessories, and a ton of other specialty items. Guests can also stock up on gourmet products and local items such as olive oil and honey. more

Catch a Wave at Velocity Island

VelocityIf you are a dedicated wakeboarder searching for a place to ride, then look no further than the new Velocity Island Park in Woodland. One of only a few cable wakeboard parks in California, it opened on July 17th at 755 N. East Street, where the old Dubach Park was just north of I-5.

The park features a full-size, five-tower cable park that pulls up to six riders clockwise around a nine-acre lake; it also has a smaller 3-acre lake that is designed for beginners.  more
